The Tinies Service For Parents
1. Getting in touch & registering
Contact can either be made by phone (09) 580 1226 or email for advice or to register. Alternatively complete the on line enquiry form. This will be sent to your nearest Tinies consultant who will contact you directly for more information. If you wish you can also download the registration form (Adobe Acrobat required) and post it to us.
2. Refining your needs
If you registered by post or filled in an equiry form, your Tinies consultant will contact you to run through your requirements and add any specific requirements to match your individual needs.
3. Nannies CV's & References
Once you have given us all the relevent information your Tinies consultant will send you the details of candidates who are best suited to your requirements. All our childcarers have been interviewed by a Tinies consultant, had their qualifications and employment checked, Verbal references taken up and importantly asked to complete a Police and/or Courts check.
4. Interviewing your Nanny
Once you receive the nannies CV's it is likely you will want to meet at least one of them. Contact your Tinies consultant and she will arrange a mutually convenient time for your nanny to meet you and your family. Your Tinies consultant will continue to arrange interviews until you find a nanny that is right for you and your family.
Tinies can provide a guide to interviewing nanny candidates and an outline of a Job Description.
5. Contracts and PAYE
Once we have found a childcarer that you wish to employ a contract will need to be drawn up between you and the nanny. Tinies provides a standard form contract, which we recommend you use and we will be happy to advise on the contract as necessary. If you have any general employment questions then feel free to contact Tinies. The Employment Relations hotline (0800 800 863) is also available. Tinies will also advise you on procedures for reviews, PAYE, pay structures, insurance and holidays.
6. Placement Fee and Tinies Guarantee
Once the booking has been confirmed a fee is payable. The fee covers the placing of a candidate and includes a guaranteed replacement should the candidate not work out. Tinies is one of the only agencies to offer a full refund should the the placement not work out.
For further information, see our Terms & Conditions.
7. Your Nanny starts work!
8. Operating your Payroll
Becoming a domestic employer can be a source of concern as well as an administrative nightmare for parents - especially those without a working knowledge of the Tax System. Tinies can assist you in making the right decision in how to deal with these matters.
9. After Care Service
Usually, because of the selection process, the candidate selected is the right one. However, occasionally things do not work out as planned. Your Tinies consultant will stay in touch to help the nanny settle in, by, for example, putting her in touch with other nannies in the area. |
